Welcome to Leap Ahead Preschool! Founded in 2014 by owner and educator Shanda Kramer, Leap Ahead Preschool has been serving Treasure Valley families for over a decade. With 25 years of experience in early childhood education, Shanda has created a preschool where children are loved, encouraged, and inspired to learn through play. Leap Ahead Preschool is now located in Boise near Overland and Five Mile at 1439 S. Weideman Ave.
We provide preschool and child care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years in a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn each day. Our experienced teachers use the award-winning Experience Early Learning Curriculum, along with Zoo-Phonics and Handwriting Without Tears, to build strong academic, social, and emotional foundations for kindergarten and beyond.
At Leap Ahead Preschool, we believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful relationships, and plenty of time outdoors. Our natural playground includes a large garden, friendly chickens, grassy play areas, and a mud kitchen where children can explore, imagine, and discover. We are proud to be a screen-free preschool, giving children the opportunity to build creativity, confidence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine love of learning through play.
