Leap Ahead Preschool was founded in 2014 in Meridian, and is locally owned and operated by Shanda Kramer. Leap Ahead Preschool is proud to now serve families from our new location in Boise, near Overland and Five Mile, at 1439 S Weideman Ave.
We provide full-day preschool for children ages 3 to 5 and child care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, using the award-winning Experience Early Learning Curriculum, along with Zoo-Phonics and Handwriting Without Tears to support each child’s growth and school readiness.
At Leap Ahead, we believe in the power of outdoor learning. Our children play outside in all seasons on our natural playground, which features a garden, chickens, grassy areas, and a mud kitchen—encouraging exploration, creativity, and a strong connection to nature.
